Our first baseball podcast takes a look at some of Major League’s Baseball biggest news from the past week. This will be a weekly podcast, looking at the biggest moments, whether it’s an offseason trade or a perfect game.
Manny Machado remains the focal point of MLB rumours, and Bryce Harper is still available. The New York Yankees landed Adam Ottavino on Thursday, which is discussed at length on the podcast. Ottavino joins a fearsome Yankee bullpen alongside Aroldis Chapman, Dellin Betances and Zach Britton.
The Phillies are linked to everyone, but have had a tricky offseason to date, missing out on J.A. Happ and Patrick Corbin. Philadelphia are a team to watch, and Sam tips them to land at least one of Harper or Machado, though he’s sceptical it will make a difference.
