Re-drafting the 2018 NBA Draft

4th pick: Michael Porter Jr.

A contentious pick, this, Michael Porter Jr. was the highest ranked player in the country coming out of high school. Injuries saw him fall to the Denver Nuggets at 14 and miss his first NBA season.

Denver have been cautious with Porter in his rookie year, giving him a solitary start and just 14 minutes per contest. There have been flashes of the talent that made him so highly rated just a couple of years ago, though.

Standing at 6’10, able to shoot from deep and create his own shot, Porter could yet blossom into the best player of his class if he stays healthy.
