A decade of drafts: Re-drafting the 2012 NBA Draft

Re-Draft Pick #12: Jeremy Lamb -- Houston Rockets

This pick would eventually be used in the infamous ‘Harden Trade’, however, this time, this selection is going to be used based on team need rather than being affected by any future trade needs. With the 12th overall pick, the Rockets still select Jeremy Lamb out of UCONN.

With Harden not yet in the picture, Houston will gamble on drafting their own stellar 2-Guard rather than trading for one. While not quite at Harden’s level, Lamb has been a solid player in the NBA since his rookie season. Before a gruesome ACL tear ended Lamb’s impressive 2019 season with the Pacers in which he averaged 12.5PPG.
