Re-Draft Pick #16: Meyers Leonard – Houston Rockets
Leonard has failed to really maximise his strengths in the modern NBA as a stretch five. Averaging 5.6PPG for his career, Leonard seemed primed to excel as that big man sharpshooter everyone would want on their roster. With a respectable 3pt percentage of 39%, it’s frustrating to see Leonard not take his game to the next level.
However, in a system that would really emphasise what Leonard is good at, maybe the player would be further along in his development. Meyers Leonard is a good choice here at #16 for Houston considering Kyle O’Quinn was the next best big available.
