Three dark horses to win the 2020 World Series

In the eyes of many MLB fans, and even experts, this year’s World Series winner will not be the undisputed champion that it usually is. The shortened 2020 campaign – starting on July 23rd – will feature just 60 games per team, which is nearly a third of the normal 162 games. There’s always been a reason why baseball teams play such an unprecedented number of games. A smaller number of games would resemble an outcome too situational to determine a rightful champion.

Green Bay Packers will regret their first-round draft pick

Arguably the biggest surprise of the first round of the 2020 NFL draft was the Green Bay Packers Packers selecting Utah State star quarterback Jordan Love. Unlike the other clubs seeking a playmaker in the first round, Green Bay isn’t looking for a new one just yet. Aaron Rodgers, in addition to being an all-time great, is still holding strong among the league’s best.

Film Study: Denzel Mims will be the steal of the 2020 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is quickly approaching. One of the most essential things about this year’s unique draft is the loaded class at wide receiver that it provides. Without any doubt, CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, and Henry Ruggs are bound to all land inside the top 15 with many teams in need for a prolific wideout. However, the evaluations past those three future stars are much less consistent.

New England Patriots should stay competitive and trade for Andy Dalton

Andy Dalton’s value should be high enough for the Bengals to demand a quality return. He won’t be able to replace Tom Brady, even after one of his worst seasons. He will, however, be the perfect quarterback to keep the team competitive under the Bill Belichick regime.

Milwaukee Brewers will fail to return to the NL postseason

Milwaukee was, from top to bottom, inconsistent and unbalanced. Yelich was the frontrunner to win the NL MVP award for the second straight year until his injury. Mike Moustakas had an excellent year and was selected to his third All-Star Game and Keston Hiura was one of the best rookie hitters in the NL.

The sports world might be in a state of a shutdown but NFL business never stops. How can the Los Angeles Chargers build a contender in 2020?

The Los Angeles Chargers had everything scrambled and mixed up in their contradicting 2019 campaign. More often than not, they put on quality on-field performances during the NFL regular season. Yet, they just couldn’t get the job done en route to a 5-11 record and 4th place in AFC West, missing the playoff one year after reaching the Divisional Round.
