Anyone looking for a bit of scoring, some additional shot creation off the bench, should be considering Isaiah Thomas. Thomas averaged 19 points per 36 minutes for the Wizards earlier this season before a trade to the Clippers saw him get waived.
He shot north of 41% from three-point range this year in Washington’s free-flowing offence. Thomas is not the player he was pre-injury, but he can still beat people off the dribble. Shot creation is vital as the game slows down in the playoffs -- he could be a useful player off the bench for several postseason bound teams.
Still only 31 years old, Thomas has plenty left in the tank. The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the teams that should be showing an interest.
