NBA free agents who deserve a place on one of the 22 remaining teams

Jamal Crawford

Much of the NBA fan base have wanted to see Jamal Crawford on the court this season. Crawford, as it stands, is in an exclusive group of players to have scored 50 points in his final NBA game.

There’s some nostalgia in the desire to see the 40-year-old return to the league. Crawford averaged just 7.9 points per game for the Suns last season, albeit with his usage rate at the lowest mark it has been since his rookie year. He was a rotation player for a not-very-good Suns team. Having not played a minute of NBA basketball this season, it’s hard to tell how effective Crawford would be.

The addition of experience could be important for a younger group. Crawford has aged gracefully -- maybe he can inject some scoring in limited minutes?
