Four teams who should make a move for free agent DeMarcus Cousins

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, there is no market for Cousins. The four-time All-Star received the mid-level exception with the Warriors last season, but Wojnarowski added that he may not even get that despite expecting a hefty one-year deal when free agency began.

Brooklyn Nets should celebrate signing of Irving despite obvious risk

The decision will be met with its fair share of raised eyebrows after Irving’s most recent season with the Celtics turned out to be a disaster of epic proportions. However, Irving is one of the premier players and point guards in the league, as well as being a Brooklyn native, thus the argument can be made that for a team looking to break into the upper echelon of the NBA, Irving is the exact type of superstar to lead you there.

Kemba Walker, like Isaiah Thomas, can bring best out of Stevens’ Celtics

With Kyrie leaving, Aron Baynes’ contract traded to Phoenix and Al Horford moving on, the Celtics are suddenly in a position to make a statement in the free agent market in the form of Kemba Walker. Walker can take the option of earning an estimated $220 million super-max in Charlotte (should it be offered), however, there are strong rumours that Walker will decline the super-max in favour of playing for a contender.

The only way we will find out is if the team put their heads down and work for each other and the team, rather than themselves.

Ranking the Bucks, Celtics, Raptors and Sixers after the trade deadline

With LeBron James on the other side of the country, the Eastern Conference is wide open. Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics are all competing to make the NBA Finals and there is little to pick between the East’s top four.

Danny Ainge is doing all he can to stop the Lakers building a superteam

All in all, Ainge has used his business brain to good use once again. He is currently playing chess whilst everyone else is playing checkers and it’s fantastic to watch. The next couple of days will be the be all and end all for his masterplan but either way, you have to rate his effort in stopping LA getting their big three together.

Jaylen Brown

Should the Boston Celtics have traded Jaylen Brown last offseason?

Jaylen Brown was on top of the world at the end of last season. Injuries to Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving allowed Brown, along with Terry Rozier and Jayson Tatum, to take centre stage as the Boston Celtics pushed the Cleveland Cavaliers to Game Seven in the Eastern Conference Finals. Irving and Hayward returned for
