Here are the NBA Eastern Conference standings. The Atlantic, Southeast and Central divisions make up the Eastern Conference. Other than bragging rights, though, there’s little relevance to the divisions in the NBA after alterations to the schedule.

Until the last two seasons, it was a straight path of the top eight teams going into the playoffs. The introduction of a play-in tournament has changed things.The NBA Eastern Conference standings are usually made up of 82 games, with most of the games against teams in the conference. This was nudged down to 72 for 2020/21, however, due to the condensed NBA regular season.
