Joe and Sam catch up after a podcast break, covering Cody Bellinger, the Minnesota Twins and potential landing spots for Dallas Keuchel and Craig Kimbrel.

Jay Bruce’s impending trade to the Philadelphia Phillies is also discussed. Philadelphia currently lead the National League Central, while Bruce has hit 14 home runs for the Seattle Mariners. Bruce was traded from the Mets to the Mariners in the offseason in the deal that saw Robinson Cano and Edwin Diaz go to New York.

Bellinger is on course for an all-time great season, having already accumulated 5.4 bWAR. His adjustments have seen him walk a lot more and strikeout a lot less, which has been paired with the incredible power we saw in his rookie season.

The Twins were active in the offseason, signing Nelson Cruz, Jonathan Schoop and Marwin Gonzalez. They have taken advantage of a poor campaign from the Indians to lead the American League Central by 10 games.
