The Minnesota Twins have made one of the biggest moves of the offseason, landing third baseman Josh Donaldson on a four-year deal. Away from free agency, the Houston Astros were hit with a $5 million fine, lost four draft picks and saw their general manager and manager banned.

Former Astros Alex Cora and Carlos Beltran have also been embroiled in the scandal that has been hanging over Major League Baseball for the entirety of the offseason.

Nicholas Castellanos and Marcell Ozuna remain free agents and trade rumours continue to pop up about Kris Bryant and Nolan Arenado. The Texas Rangers recently added Todd Frazier to their roster, but they are still thought to be in the running for Arenado and Bryant.
