The All-Star break is approaching and trade season is getting underway in the NBA. Contenders are looking to add players that could tip them over the edge and rebuilding teams are wondering how they can add draft picks to their pot of assets.
Andre Drummond has been linked with a move away from Detroit with the Atlanta Hawks the most likely destination. Blake Griffin’s season-ending surgery has likely forced the Pistons into a rebuild. Kevin Love could be on the way out of Cleveland and Jrue Holiday might be available.
The Eastern Conference is congested in the top six, but the final two playoff spots are wide open. The West is similar, though the Oklahoma City Thunder have made a claim for the seventh seed and could be on a collision course with the Houston Rockets in the first round of postseason basketball.
