Could Ducks Coach Randy Carlyle’s job be on the line? The Anaheim Ducks slipped to their 11th straight loss on Sunday, after suffering a 4-3 overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets at Bell MTS Place. Despite their poor run of form, Ducks GM Bob Murray is fully behind Carlyle. “At this time, I am not considering a coaching change. I am more focused on our players, specifically with who is going to step up in this situation”. Murray said after the loss to the Jets.

They have also added defenseman Michael Del Zotto from the Canucks for defenseman Luke Schenn and a seventh-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft. Derek Grant from the Penguins and forward Justin Kloos from the Wild have also been added to the side.
On the subject of trade deals, Nino Niederreiter was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes by the Minnesota Wild for Victor Rask on Thursday.

The 34-year-old forward last played in the NHL last season with the Boston Bruins.An eight time 30-goal scorer, Nash ammased 805 points in 1, 060 NHL games with the Bruins, New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets.
Casey DeSmith has signed a three-year contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday. The 27-year-old netminder could have become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. The contract, is believed to be worth an average annual value of $1.25 million.
