With the Madden ratings being released over the past week, there have been a few players who are not so happy with their rating.

With Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson laughing at his rating of 86 and the reigning MVP Lamar Jackson wishing his was better.

However, it is not just the players who feel like some of the Madden ratings are not accurate. As usual a few fans feel like their players have been disrespected by some of the ratings.

One of these players is Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, who has come out and said that the critics need to put some respect on his name.

Elliott’s rating came in at a 92. This is the fourth highest running back in the game.

Tied with Cleveland Browns Nick Chubb, one behind Tennessee Titans Derrick Henry and a massive seven overalls lower than Carolina Panthers Christian McCaffrey.

Despite this Elliott has been a top running back since he came into the NFL.

Through his first four seasons in the NFL he has 5,405 rushing yards on 1,169 rushing attempts and 40 rushing touchdowns.

Out of his four seasons Elliot has only been under the 1,300 rushing yard total once. This was due to him serving a six-game suspension back in 2017. He was on track to make 1,573 yards that season.

One thing that people bring up with Elliott is that he has had one of if not the best offensive line in the NFL since he came into the league.

While this may be true, the Cowboys offensive line has had to endure some injuries during this time. Tyron Smith has had to battle injuries over the past couple of years alongside Zack Martin who has been experiencing back issues and Travis Frederick having to retire early due to a disease that he had been fighting since 2018.

These were the Cowboys three best offensive linemen and they have all battled injuries since Elliott came into the NFL, but Elliott has managed to put up numbers which have earned him multiple rushing titles.
