Dallas Mavericks star forward Kristaps Porzingis has spoken out about his life in quarantine.

While he’s been in lockdown, Porzingis has been doing his best to stay in shape in preparation for the season restarting.

“I try to do what I can, I have a little room with a lot of stuff that I use to stay in shape.”

I have a little weight room here, a bike and stuff so I can do some cardio.”

With the Mavericks sitting comfortably in the seventh seed, this would seem to be a wise decision from the young power forward.

Along with staying in shape has been trying to pick up some new hobbies.

“I’m trying to build up the patience to read.”

Along with reading he’s been watching platforms like YouTube.

“I’m a YouTube guy, so I’m on YouTube just watching videos and learning new stuff.”

Like I said I like to keep myself busy.”

Back in his home country of Latviam Porzingis said that the country is doing well.

He’s also been checking up on his parents and making sure they stay safe while staying in touch with them every day.

He has hopes of being able to see his parents soon.

The Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has led the charge in the fight against Covid-19, Porzingis mentioned that Cuban is “a great leader” and that he’s “making sure people around us are being taken care of.”

With high hopes that the season carries on, Porzingis just wants to get back to playing alongside his partner in crime Luka Doncic.

“I feel like me and Luka were really getting into a good rhythm playing with each other right before this whole thing happened and hopefully, we can get back to that as soon as possible.”
