The November 2 NFL trade deadline continues is approaching and Emmanuel Ogbah trade rumors 2021 keep cropping up all over the web. Unsurprisingly, the talented defensive end is expected to be highly pursued as the clock winds down.

The Miami Dolphins look far from the team they were last season. They vastly regressed and it seems like last year’s success was nothing but a fluke. With that in mind, several analysts expect them to be sellers and make some panic moves ahead of the deadline.

Even though Brian Flores has repeatedly stated that Tua Tagovailoa is his starting quarterback going forward, some reports claim that they’re still interested in trading for Deshaun Watson. And, although they have more than enough draft capital to pull off a move, the Texans’ steep price could force them to add even more assets to sweeten that deal.

With that in mind, it’s clear that Emmanuel Ogbah, DeVante Parker, and Xavien Howard should be the names to follow as the trade deadline zooms in.

Emmanuel Ogbah trade rumors 2021

The 27-year-old Nigerian force is one of the best available headhunters in the league right now.

Moreover, several contending sides would be perfect Ogbah trade fits, as his skill set is just what they’re lacking to become legit Super Bowl threats. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the 4 teams that should make a run at him right now.

4. Buccaneers

There aren’t many areas of concern for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers right now. As long as they don’t play Sean Payton‘s New Orleans Saints every week, they should be just fine. Even so, they could add another edge rusher and Ogbah is one of the best ones up for grabs.

Ogbah lining up next to Ndamukong Suh and Vita Vea would be a scary sight for everybody in the league. Also, we already know that everybody wants to play with Tom Brady, so it’s not like he’s going to have any complaints to join the reigning champions.

3. Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have a tough stretch ahead of them and they might be out of playoff contention a couple of weeks from now. Not having Russell Wilson under center only complicated their season even more, but they could still try and make a last-second shot at keeping their playoff hopes alive.

The Seahawks’ physical defense is no more. They’ve been one of the worst units in the league when it comes to stopping the run, and Wilson’s frustration could only grow if they don’t make the playoffs this season. It’s a long shot, but they could still make a run at Ogbah.

2. Raiders

Just like the Seattle Seahawks, the Las Vegas Raiders have vastly struggled to stop the run. Also, they’re a middle-of-the-pack team when it comes to sacks (18) and rushing the opposing quarterback. Both areas would improve by adding Emmanuel Ogbah.

Even if he doesn’t get any credit, Derek Carr has been balling for the Raiders all year long. Moreover, the Chargers’ loss to the Patriots has them at the top of their division, so they should be quite aggressive ahead of the trade deadline.

1. Chiefs

And last but not least, we find the Kansas City Chiefs.

Emmanuel Ogbah was pretty good for them in his short stint at Arrowhead Stadium but a torn pectoral took him out of action 10 weeks into the season. Then, his high salary demands prevented them from re-signing him.

The Chiefs have the worst defense in the league right now. Through 8 weeks, they have recorded a grand total of 8 sacks. Ogbah himself has 2.5 sacks this season. Andy Reid‘s team is in jeopardy of missing the playoffs unless they turn around their defense right now, and adding a familiar face might be just what they need to do that.
