With Week 2 of the NFL season behind us, some teams are starting to separate themselves from the rest of the league.

Some of these teams could be in contention for a long unbeaten run, here are the teams that could have the longest of those runs…

Buccaneers

After giving up four turnovers against the Dallas Cowboys, the Buccaneers bounced back in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers were dominant on both offence and defence, scoring five touchdowns and intercepting three passes from Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan.

These first two wins put Tampa in a strong position to go on a run after having a great offseason getting most of the pieces back from their championship season.

Returning players like tight end Rob Gronkowski and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh have already made their presence felt.

Rams

The main talking point this season for the Rams will be their new quarterback Matthew Stafford.

He was acquired in a trade which sent quarterback Jared Goff to the Detroit Lions plus some picks.

Through his first two games this season, Stafford has thrown for 599 yards, five touchdowns and just the one interception.

With the Rams being top 10 in touchdowns for both passing and rushing, it shows that they can score in multiple ways.

With Stafford and the offence putting up points this will make life easier for players like defensive tackle Aaron Donald on defence.

Raiders

The opening two weeks have seen two very good performances from the Las Vegas Raiders.

Big wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens have put the Raiders in a very strong position at 2-0.

The Las Vegas offensive line has held up well so far after losing a few key players in the offseason.

The offensive line will be a big part moving forward this season seeing if they can keep up this good start.

With quarterback Derek Carr leading the league in passing yards with 817 and the defence getting to the quarterback and creating turnovers, this puts the Raiders in a good position to go on a good run.

Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals went big in the offseason this year and so far, it has paid off with a 2-0 start.

Week 1 was a dominant 38-13 win against the Tennessee Titans and then in week two they managed to squeeze a 34-33 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Even though the Cardinals have playmakers on the defence their key is the offence, with multiple stars like quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receivers like DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green.

Arizona has the second most passing touchdowns in the NFL (7), third most passing yards (651) and the fourth most yards per play (7).

However, in weeks four and five they will face two tests when they go against two other currently undefeated teams and division rivals the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers.
