Re-drafting the 2018 NBA Draft

13th pick: Kendrick Nunn

Some would argue for Kendrick Nunn as rookie of the year. It’s not an impossible case to make. Nunn has been excellent this campaign, leading the offence early in the season, and taking a secondary role once Jimmy Butler took the court.

He can shoot from outside, he can take people off the dribble and his 3.4 assists to 1.6 turns is okay for a first-year player.

Turning 25 in a couple of months, Nunn’s ceiling is notably lower than others in this draft which stopped him climbing much higher. He’s a little under-sized for a two-guard, too.
