Re-drafting the 2018 NBA Draft

10th pick: Marvin Bagley III

It was a toss up between Bagley and Carter for these two spots. The additional time Bagley has sat out through injuries tipped the scales in Carter’s favour.

Bagley, like Carter, has been hurt by the Kings’ tweaking. His future is likely as a five rather than a four, but he’s played both positions and spent much of his NBA career to date coming off the bench.

If we can ignore that Sacramento should have taken Doncic, Bagley could yet prove to be a successful NBA player if the Kings build around him and De’Aaron Fox.
